Paws at Peace offers in home pet euthanasia services in the comfort of your own home where you pet feels safe and loved.
We try to keep our prices comparable to other services in the area - but we are consistently cheaper than large in home euthanasia companies.
Dr. Taro Cuetara (Paws at Peace) and Dr. Kristina Netherwood (Saft Space Vet) have partnered together to keep costs down and to provide exceptional in home end of life services in our local areas. Our service locations and availability vary, so we want to ensure all patients are able to find care that best fits their needs.
We are available by appointment only - if you need services urgently please contact your local ER clinic.
Dr. Cuetara will transport your pet's remains with him in his vehicle after you have said your goodbyes. We work with a pet crematorium called West Coast Pet to offer cremation of your beloved pet. You have the option to have your pet's ashes returned to you (private cremation) or not returned (group cremation). Depending on your city/county code some people may elect to bury their pet at home. If you select private cremation your pet's ashes will be returned.

After you schedule an appointment and fill out the client intake form, we will send you a final invoice through STRIPE and a euthanasia consent form or your can fill this out in person.
We understand that it is hard to make this decision for your pet, we offer free cancellation 12 hours prior to your appointment. If you cancel within 12 hours, we do charge a $100 cancellation fee. Please make sure you contact us to cancel your appointment PRIOR to us showing up at your home, otherwise the full fee ($375) is required and it is considered a QOL assessment. Your vet reserves time in their schedule exclusively for you, so we ask you to cancel as soon as you are able so that your vet may help another family in need.
