Scheduling Helpful Hints
If you are ready to schedule a euthanasia appointment, please select the doctor you were referred to, or whose "availability and region serviced" best suits your location, and preferred appointment day and time.
Then click the "schedule an appointment" link that is below the desired doctor's name. This will take you to the doctor's booking page and calendar. Then select the available appointment day and time that works best for you and your pet. Next, completely fill out the "booking form" that pops up, and when finished, scroll down and click on "book." You will then receive a booking confirmation email, as will the doctor. The doctor will then contact you if they need to confirm any of the information entered or the quality of life reasons given for euthanasia.

The LOCAL AREA for Dr. Taro includes locations within the following cities that are within a 45 minute drive time from his North Auburn home base: Auburn, Meadow Vista, Colfax, Grass Valley, Nevada City, Penn Valley, Newcastle, Penryn, Loomis, Lincoln, Rocklin, Roseville, Citrus Heights, Granite Bay, Folsom, Georgetown, Cool, Lotus, Garden Valley, Coloma, Orangevale, Fair Oaks, Carmichael, and Sacramento. If your town isn't listed, please reach out to check on service in your area.
In general, the OUTSIDE AREA for Dr. Taro includes the following cities: Rancho Cordova, El Dorado Hills, Cameron Park, Shingle Springs, Diamond Springs, Pollock Pines, Placerville, Rancho Murieta, Elk Grove, Galt, West Sacramento, Davis, and Woodland. Extra drive time fees apply for outside area appointments (See Services and Pricing). If your town isn't listed, please reach out to check on service in your area.
